Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use the NomiPay website and app ("NomiPay", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using NomiPay you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. A Testnet demo

NomiPay currently runs on the Stellar Testnet. Every payment uses test USDC, which has no monetary value, and every booking, ticket and voucher is a demonstration. Nothing NomiPay issues can be used to travel or to check in to a hotel.

3. Your account

Keep your sign-in details private and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You're responsible for activity on your account and for keeping the information in it accurate.

4. Planning with Nomi

Nomi is an AI assistant. It can misunderstand a request or show details that are out of date or wrong. Prices and options in chat are illustrative examples. Always review a booking summary before you pay.

5. Payments on Stellar

You pay from a Stellar wallet you control, such as Varial. You approve every payment in your wallet; NomiPay can't move funds on its own and never asks for your secret key or recovery phrase.

Payments go to NomiPay's published payment address and are recorded on the Stellar network, where they are public and can't be reversed. Include the memo shown at checkout so we can match your payment to your booking.

6. Bookings, tickets and vouchers

After a payment is confirmed, NomiPay issues a demo e-ticket or stay voucher with the transaction hash so you can verify the payment on a Stellar explorer. These documents are for demonstration only.

7. Acceptable use

Please don't misuse NomiPay. In particular, don't:

• try to break, overload or get around the service's security or rate limits;
• use NomiPay to deceive others, including presenting demo tickets as real;
• use automated tools to scrape or flood the assistant;
• use the service in breach of the law.

8. Services we rely on

NomiPay works with services run by others, including the Stellar network, the Varial wallet, Google's Gemini models for the assistant, and Circle's test USDC faucet. Their own terms apply when you use them, and we're not responsible for their availability.

9. Our responsibility

NomiPay is provided "as is" while it's a Testnet demo. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses arising from your use of the service, from network or wallet problems, or from relying on AI suggestions. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.

10. Changes to these terms

We'll update these terms as NomiPay moves beyond Testnet, for example when real payments or bookings arrive. We'll change the date at the top and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
